Description

On Saturday, April 28th, the Coalition Of Diversity and Equality will proudly welcome Suzanne Elizabeth Wheeler as our Featured Speaker at our third public forum. Suzanne Wheeler, M.A., LDP, PMP, serves as a Senior Program Director at the Collaborative to Advance Health Services at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and is a retired Army Colonel. In her role with the Collaborative, she is focused on several projects which help train the U.S. HIV and Reproductive work force in improving their outreach to and cultural compentence about the LGBTQ community. Wheeler was the most senior OUT Transgender military member at the time of her retirement. She played a significant role in the lifting of the transgender ban and the development of policies to integrate transgender military members. She is a well-known LGBTQ policy advocate who has assisted numerous governmental, for-profit, and non-profit organizations with improving their outcomes by cultivating their inclusion of transgender employees, patients, clients, and customers.

We have changed the name of the forum to "CODE Presents" as we are promoting awareness and discussion based on more issues than race. Come join us as we encourage open discussion on some difficult topics.
