Presented by Code for Fun. This is a 3-day winter camp for ages 7-10.
Explore, imagine and create! That is the core of Creative Computing. The students will document their ideas in a design workbook, then use Scratch to create computational artifacts (like games, animations, music composition) using ideas from their lives and interests. They will reflect on their own projects and learn how to provide feedback on other students’ projects. The goal of this class is to increase fluency with computational thinking and programming concepts.
This class offers opportunities for learners to engage in activities that are personally meaningful and relevant, to engage in designing and making not only listening, observing and doing, to engage with interactions with others as audience, coaches & co-creators, to reflect on their creative process.
Registration is required and starts 1 pm, December 12, 2016. Once registered, you are registered for all 3 days. Bring a laptop if you have one!
You must present the ticket and check in by 11:45 am on the first day of the camp or your spot may be cancelled and released to the students waiting in the library.
