Our Headliner for the evening is Carla Clay.
Clay is a native San Franciscan and a long-standing veteran of the San Francisco comedy scene. You may have seen her on Comics Unleashed or at local clubs as she has been on the bill of every comedy club in the Bay Area. She is also known for having a “clean” comedy act with very broad appeal.
Our Opening act is Candy Shaw
Candy Shaw is a Bay Area favorite who has appeared on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. She also won 3rd in California’s Funniest Female Contest. She has opened for such greats as Rob Schneider and Bobcat Goldthwait.
Our feature comics are Melissa McGillicuddy from Sacramento, Jeanette Marin from the South Bay and Brooke Heinichen from San Francisco.
Melissa is a stand-up comedian based in Sacramento, California. She has performed at SF Sketchfest, the World Series of Comedy, and colleges all across the country. Her dry wit and unique perspective on life make her a hit with audiences everywhere. Melissa also co-produces the Moving Van Show, a monthly, secret pop-up comedy show, as well as Sacramento FemmeFest, the city's first all-female comedy festival. In 2019, she was voted best comedian by the Sacramento News & Review.
Jeanette is a stay-at-home mom by day and a stand-up comedian by night. She gravitates towards jobs with long titles and very little pay. When she is not hiding from her children in a closet, she delights audiences by saying what mothers are never supposed to admit in public! Her humor, in fact, is often described as a cry for help. She has competed in the S.F. International Comedy Competition, was a featured comedian at the Cinequest Film Festival and performed as a featured comedian at the 2021 San Francisco Comedy Day in golden gate park.
Brooke is a regular at the San Francisco Punch Line, Cobb's Comedy Club, the Alameda Comedy Club, Rooster T. Feathers and Laughs Unlimited. She placed third in the 2021 World Series of Comedy and was the winner of the 2019 Rooster T Feather’s comedy competition.
She has performed at the 2018, 2019 and 2020 SF Sketchfests, and was selected as one of Audible’s Fresh Faces of Stand-Up. She performed at Comedy Day in San Francisco in 2019 and 2021, and the 2018 SF International Comedy Competition.
