Join us for this Cocoa Runners Tasting Event at Prufrock Coffee in Leather Lane.
Here at Cocoa Runners, we've enjoyed tasting bars from artisan makers from all four corners of the globe. On 5th April we'll be bringing you a comprehensive tour of the world's finest craft chocolates.
Joining us to host the evening will be James Hoffmann, CEO of Square Mile Roasters, World Barista Champion and author of The World Atlas of Coffee.
We’ll be discussing coffee and chocolate pairings, and running a pairing taste experiment too
We'll go under the hood of craft chocolate bars, looking in detail at the intricacies of cacao genetics, harvest, fermentation, vintages, conching and roasting, and examining how each stage of cacao production can affect the flavour of a bar. With makers from Cleethorpes to Copenhagen, Woodbridge to Warsaw and San Fancisco to Saigon, we'll be tasting a wide range of bars along the way
The tasting will start promptly at 7pm.

When & Where
We love chocolate and we’ve a simple goal.
We want to bring you the world’s best single estate chocolate. So we’ve travelled the world from Brooklyn to Budapest and San Francisco to Saigon tasting chocolate. To date we’ve tasted over 4,000 bars. Some we liked. Some we didn’t. And a very few we loved. We sell only those bars we love. We are proud to offer close to 600 of the finest single estate chocolate bars through our subscription service, gift boxes, and chocolate library.
We hope you enjoy!
