Coastal Caper
Event Information
About this event
Our trail is a botanist's delight, with native plants and late spring wildflowers galore. For those more geologically inclined, we’ll pass outcrops of Marin's well-traveled Franciscan rocks, formed in Jurassic seas far from present-day California. Our route includes a visit to the Battery Townsley “newtist colony”, where we’ll sneak a peek at the secretive salamanders.
Optional visit to the Point Bonita Lighthouse after our hike.
