This training will focus on the importance of creating a coaching environment that will allow staff and leaders an opportunity to provide feedback to each other in a way that is actionable, safe and most importantly respectful for all parties. We will reflect on formal and informal coaching moments and the best way to provide feedback. Whether you are managing up or with a team member. You will walk away from this training with job aids and practical tips (no tricks!) that you can begin to immediately apply.

Key Takeaways:

  • Learn the importance of building a Coaching and Development culture
  • Identify and describe when coaching moments take place
  • Apply coaching techniques in practical situations
  • Gain the ability to give appreciative and constructive feedback

This workshop will be presented by Tiffany Avery, Senior Director, HR & Learning for The National Urban League

Key Area(s) of Excellence: Communications, Human Resources

Participants who complete the post-session evaluation can receive a PDF copy of the presentation.
