Description
There is a growing area of innovation in which waste CO2 is captured and used to produce valuable materials and products. Technological advances, public policy goals, carbon pricing, tax incentives, and interest from capital providers are setting the sector on a course to scale dramatically over the next decade. However, communication around this sector remains inconsistent. The NRG COSIA Carbon XPRIZE, The Circular Carbon Network, The Center for Carbon Removal, and CO2 Value Europe, surveyed over 100 investors, corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, researchers, policymakers, and media professionals who actively work in this space. A report summarizing the findings will be released during Climate Week NYC. Better understanding the perceptions and messaging in this space will make it possible to improve communications, rally support, and grow the community. Join us for drinks and light refreshments following brief remarks and the report launch.
