Description

This 21 hour training is provided by Adapt, a NAADAC Approved Education Provider and aims to meet criteria for substance abuse professionals working on their CADC II through MHACBO. It may also be of interest to mental health professionals seeking to have a more comprehensive knowledge of substance use disorders and treatment.

Day 1: Overview of mental health disorders and treatment (Kindall Baker LCSW) 9-5 with a 1 hour break for lunch

Day 2: Overview of substance use disorders and treatment (Lisa Hubbard LCSW) 9-5 with a 1 hour break for lunch

Day 3: Incorporating mental health treatment into substance abuse services (Lisa Hubbard LCSW) 8-5 with a 1 hour break for lunch

Snacks, coffee and water will be provided. Lunch is on your own.

Adapt employees may register for the free training slots. Non-employees, please register for the paid communtiy slots. Registrations of non-employees in employee slots will be cancelled by the organizer.

About the presenters:

Kindall Baker LCSW is The EASA (Early Assessment and Support Alliance) Lead for Compass Behavioral Health in Roseburg, OR. She has additional work experience in outpatient community mental health assessment and treatment, community colleges, community corrections and has worked in the VA system.

Lisa Hubbard LCSW is Adapt's Clinical Director of Substance Use Disorder Treatment Services. Lisa has 20+ years' experience in community mental health / addictions, school, and private practice settings.
