Jessica Larsen is proud to be born and raised in the great state of Idaho. All throughout Larsen’s youth she exhibited a passion for creativity and an eagerness to explore her makers mind with whatever materials she came across. She started honing her craft at early age with painting lessons at 14. She went on to several secondary schools such as the College of Southern Idaho, The Art Institute of Seattle, Boise State University and Chautauqua Institute for the arts in New York. Her love for various mediums has pushed her to explore and acquire a large skill set with several different mediums and techniques. Currently Jessica is an instructor and shop assistant for the woodworking/cabinetbuilding program at the College of Southern Idaho.
Jessica is a mother of two and is married to another lifelong resident of Idaho. They spend most their time in the outdoors and much of the imagery of Idaho, especially the high mountain deserts, are what informs and inspires Larsen’s works.
