2017 Sepsis Coalition Webinar

On behalf of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (Division of Survey and Certification Region IV and VI), you are invited to a virtual Sepsis webinar on Wednesday, July, 19, 2017 at 2:00 Central/3:00 Eastern.  The purpose of the webinar is to continue the awareness of Sepsis in rural healthcare facilities with a goal of gaining valuable knowledge, best practices, and developing common measurement systems across the Nation to improve the early diagnosis of sepsis. We will share solutions across CMS and our partners/stakeholders, and increase our collaborative work to leverage research and knowledge on Sepsis. This will be our 3rd event to improve care quality across programs, with special emphasis on early diagnosis of Sepsis.

Every 2 minutes someone dies from sepsis in the U.S. – that’s more than from prostate cancer, breast cancer and AIDS combined.
