This immersive course will unpack the compliance and technical requirements of CMMC, answering the “what” and “why” as well as “how” to implement the required practices and processes. Participants will gain perspective on the expectations of the DoD with respect to cybersecurity and will also be provided with clear, actionable steps to accelerate their path to certification.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

• Understand the DoD's cybersecurity expectations for members of the Defense Industrial Base,

• Select a target CMMC level for your organization,

• Identify the status of capabilities within your organization to achieve the required CMMC level, and

• Understand the certification process and success criteria.

This workshop is presented at no charge to small to medium sized manufacturers based in Tennessee and is funded by a grant awarded to UT CIS by the Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation as a resource to help small to medium sized manufacturers become cyber compliant to DoD standards.
