Washington State Department of Transportation Current and Upcoming Project Updates
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) recently awarded contracts for several large projects such as the I-90 Hyak to Easton snow-shed project, SR 520 Eastside project, and the SR 520 Floating Bridge and Landings projects. It is currently at its peak workload in delivery of both the Nickel and Transportation Partnership Account projects. Mr. Jeff Carpenter, State Construction Engineer with WSDOT, will be providing an update on the current and upcoming projects within the agency.
Mr. Carpenter has over 20 years within WSDOT’s design and construction arenas, and is currently the Director of the Construction Division. He has served in numerous positions and projects throughout his career at WSDOT, ranging from Design-Build Engineer, Chief Engineer of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, and a Project Control and Reporting Engineer.
