Event description

Description

If you consider yourself a whiskey aficionado, then you will not want to miss our upcoming tasting seminar featuring Clyde May’s Whiskey.

Clyde May was an Alabama moonshiner and bootlegger who began his craft prior to World War II. After serving his country and earning a Purple Heart, he returned to Alabama to develop and perfect a unique style of moonshine, where he actually aged his whiskey for up to one year, then added baked green apples to the whiskey to give it a unique flavor and softness. This process became known as the “Alabama Style” of whiskey.

Presented by L.C. May, the distillery’s U.S. brand ambassador and Clyde’s grandson, this seminar will delve more into the unique history of Clyde May’s and how their approach to bottling has earned the distillery an impressive array of awards in liquid excellence and package design.

Clyde May’s is not flavored whiskey... it is whiskey with flavor and character. Discover what that means when you join us to learn more and sample the following labels:

  • Clyde May’s Original 85 Proof Alabama Style Whiskey
  • Clyde May’s Special Reserve 110 Proof Alabama Style Whiskey
  • Clyde May’s 92 Proof Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Admission for this educational seminar is only $10 per person for a beautifully etched Toast of the Town Riedel Double Old Fashioned Glass. Seating is limited and expected to fill up fast. Reserve your glass today!
