Celebrate the exhibition We Wanted a Revolution: Black Radical Women, 1965–85 with a daylong event featuring artists, activists, and scholars.

Come together to celebrate the exhibition We Wanted a Revolution: Black Radical Women, 1965–85 with artists, activists, and scholars. This daylong event honors the trailblazing artists in the exhibition, and highlights the intergenerational connections between art and activism.

Schedule:

  • 1 pm Curator Tour with Catherine Morris and Rujeko Hockley
    Sackler Center, 4th Floor

  • 2 pm Conversation with Adrienne Edwards, Howardena Pindell, and Barbara Chase-Riboud
    Cantor Auditorium, 3rd Floor

  • 2:45 pm Thomas Lax and Will Rawls on Blondell Cummings
    Cantor Auditorium, 3rd Floor

  • 4 pm Performance: Black Women Artists for Black Lives Matter
    Sackler Center, 4th Floor
