Celebrate Earth Day 2014 at Wildcat Creek with the Watershed Project!
Where: Verde Elementary School, 2000 Giaramita St, Richmond OR Wildcat Creek Staging Area located at Richmond Parkway between Pittsburg and Gertrude Avenue
When: Saturday April 26th, 2013, 9:00 am - 12:30 pm
Celebrate this Earth Day by cleaning up Wildcat Creek! Join us in picking up litter/debris and inventory the types of trash that is contributing to the pollution of Wildcat Creek. The information that will be collected during this event will be used to inform policy makers and city officials about the types of pollutants most commonly found in the creek. Free snacks and refreshments will be provided for nourishment as you work hard to help cleanup our environment!
-We will provide tools and gloves. If you have your own pair of gloves and a bucket, please bring them so everyone gets a chance to pitch in and our event can be as waste-free as possible!
-Bring your own reusable water bottle
-Wear long sleeves, pants and sturdy closed-toe shoes to protect from any hazards
-Let us know if your party will be a group of 5+
-Children MUST be accompanied by an adult
-Valid for Community Service hours
