As part of an ongoing guest speakers series, the Charlotte Latin Mass Community (CLMC) is pleased to sponsor Father Matthew McNeely for an Evening of Reflection on the topic:
The Spirituality of the Traditional Latin Mass:
An aide to families and a source of vocations.

Father McNeely, FSSP will also offer Mass in the Extraordinary Form on two occasions during his visit to Saint Ann:
1. Monday, July 15th at 6:00pm (Just prior to his talk)
2. Tuesday, July 16th at 8:00am
Rev. Matthew McNeely, FSSP is the Pastor of St. Stephen The First Martyr Parish in Sacramento, California -- one of the largest FSSP run parishes in the country. Father McNeely was born in British Columbia, Canada, and was the second of 12 children.
Fr. McNeely grew up in Ottawa, and his family eventually settled in Lincoln, Nebraska. After graduating high school, Fr. McNeely spent two years at Thomas Aquinas College and then three years at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln studying pre-med, hoping to follow in his father's footsteps as a doctor.
When the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter opened Our Lady of Guadalupe Seminary in Denton, Nebraska, in 2000, Fr. McNeely went to "try" his vocation. He was ordained a priest in May 2007 by Bishop Fabian Bruskewitz, and was first assigned Parochial Vicar in 2007 and then appointed Pastor in 2012 of St. Stephen the First Martyr Parish.
Good will offering: While this event is free we will take up a collection following the talk with proceeds being donated to the FSSP Seminary Burse. Checks can be made out to FSSP Seminary Burse.
