The MCA Foundation is hosting a Symposium on our ecosystem’s readiness to accommodate clinical trial capabilities on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm at the Cardwell Collaborative (5130 Gateway Blvd East, El Paso, Texas 79905). Specifically the MCA Foundation is interested in understanding what is needed to attract more clinical research to the region and would like regional providers and institutions interested in clinical research to attend.
Our keynote speaker and meeting leader will be Fred Poordad, MD, VP of Academic and Clinical Affairs at the Texas Liver Institute (biosketch below). Dr. Poordad will share lessons learned from his vast clinical trials experiences and facilitate a productive discussion among our clinical research community on how to increase the volume and effectiveness of quality clinical trials in the region. The symposium will also include speakers currently involved in overseeing multiple clinical trials nationally and internationally and will give us some insight into the advantages of implementing a Just-In-Time business model for speeding the adoption of clinical trials and growing our community of investigators.
Lunch will be provided, and the meeting will conclude with a reception.
We hope you can join us!
