Description

Concept

The Novo Nordisk Foundation offers funding for multi-day symposia to be held at the Novo Nordisk Foundation. The objective is to provide leading as well as younger researchers with opportunities to present and discuss the newest research within their fields.

You can read more about Novo Nordisk Foundation Symposia here.

Symposium

The Clinical Metabolomics Copenhagen conference 2020 will bring together world leaders in the field of metabolomics to discuss the current state of the art in the clinical metabolomics field as well as to discuss projections and outlooks for the future. Topics covered during this meeting will range from novel instrumentation and methods, structure elucidation and feature annotation, and systems level data analysis and interpretation in the context of applications to human health.

The event will take place over two days. Invited international speakers, local speakers, and speakers from industry will present on the latest research topics pertaining to clinical metabolomics during the oral sessions. Select travel grant recipients awarded to up-and-coming researchers based on a submitted abstract and motivation letter will also present during the oral session. At the end of each day’s oral sessions, poster presentations will be held to provide a chance for younger researchers to showcase their work.

Many breaks with food and drinks will be provided for attendees and speakers to discuss and foster new collaborations.

Donwload the symposium digital flyer here.

A casual dinner at 19:00 on 19 March 2020 in the city center will be open to all with separate registration and on the attendee’s expense. Please register before the 11 March at: https://think.dk/tickets/clinical-metabolomics-copenhagen-2020-conference-dinner

The event will continue the work of the Clinical Metabolomics Copenhagen network which aims to bring together the top researchers and clinicians in the region to promote collaborative research on the most pressing topics in human health. Please go to clime.dk to join the network.

Registration closes on March 1, 2020 or earlier if sold out.
