Event Details

Cascadia’s Seattle Branch Emerging Professionals (EP) are pleased to bring the new documentary Climate Refugees to the Seattle area, in collaboration with the USGBC Emerging Professionals National Committee. Climate Refugees, which premiered at Sundance and was featured in the Copenhagen summit, is a brand new film about the “human face of climate change.” This nation-wide screening of the multi-award winning film will bring to light the displacement of persons due to environmental disasters resulting from a changing climate.

Learn more about the documentary at: http://climaterefugees.com/ and watch the trailer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28MH3jZlucc.

Seattle EP will be screening this film at the Seattle Public Library’s Central Branch Microsoft Auditorium (1000 4th Ave, Seattle, WA 98104) at 7 pm on Friday, January 28. Tickets are $10/person. Please note that the Central Branch Library will be closed during the event. The film is 95 minutes long.

RSVPs and advance payment are required.
