PROGRAM DETAILS

• Daniel Kammen, Ph.D., Professor of Energy, UC Berkeley with parallel appointments to the Energy and Resources Group, the Goldman School of Public Policy, and the Department of Nuclear Engineering. He is the former US State Department Science Envoy, and shared recipient of the Nobel Prize with the IPCC.
• Joe Uehlein, President of the Labor Network for Sustainability and Voices for Sustainability, speaks on the development of the UN Climate Framework and policy making with the AFL-CIO, Union of Concerned Scientists, International Federation of Chemical, Energy, and Mine Workers as well as founding Ceres.
• Andrea Garcia Guerrero, Senior Advisor, Energy, Mission 2020 (Facilitating Organization for the Global Climate Action Summit), Consultant for USAID, the EU, and LEDS GP on low carbon, resilient growth. Andrea has a long trajectory in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) as a negotiator for Colombia and served in its Bureau.
