Communities throughout New York City are prone to flooding, and in recent years, flooding has occurred more frequently, affecting a broader range of communities than ever.

Learn about different types of flooding and its causes, what New York City is doing, and how you can prepare yourself in case of a flood.



The event will start off with presentations by key speakers, followed by a "tools cafe" and interaction with speakers and community residents, and sharing information, resources, tools, and values.
