The consequences of climate change have already been acutely felt here in New Jersey.

We have seen extreme storms such as Hurricane Irene, Tropical Storm Lee, and the most devastating, Hurricane Sandy. These storms are a call to action for solutions to the climate crisis. We must act now to prevent the future impacts of climate change, including intensified weather events.

The Office of Assemblyman John F. McKeon and the NJ Sierra Club are proud to bring these important issues front and center for a discussion with a panel of experts in climatology, clean energy, and adaptation policies.

The conversation, led by Assemblyman McKeon, will look at a variety of issues from the projected impacts of climate change on our state in sea level rise and storm surges and ways we can rebuild our state more resiliently after Sandy to energy policies that will cut our carbon pollution to reduce the impacts of future storms.
