Description

Climate Change is one of the greatest public health threats of the 21st century. As informed and trusted individuals, health professionals play a critical role in addressing the health impacts of climate change with patients, communities and public leaders. In "Climate and Health: What Every Health Professional Should Know," attendees will:

  • Learn about key health impacts from climate change, and co-benefit solutions for health and equity

  • Discuss challenges and opportunities for confronting climate change in the San Joaquin Valley

  • Gain hands-on skill practice to advocate for healthy communities

  • Have the opportunity to sign up for further action and support

This training is free and open to all health professionals, with options to attend full or half-day sessions.

Breakfast, lunch, and follow up support for action are included at no additional cost.

This course is pending approval by the California Board of Registered Nurses, Provider Number 16546.
