Description

Salt Lake County Health Department is holding a Climate Change and Health Symposium to bring together a diverse audience of health professionals, climate experts, and the general public to study and discuss the local health impacts of climate change. The sympsoium's goal is to increase understanding of the public health issues climate change presents, and encourage discussion on how to build a healthier, more resilient community.

Abstracts are being accepted at this time:

Submissions:

Program/Research Presentation (30 or 60 minutes): Delivered during breakout sessions at the conference, oral presentations are intended to provide attendees a synopsis of relevant research, or a public health program, initiative, or other related topic. Presenters should ensure that time is available for Q&A as part of their session.

All abstracts submitted by authors must provide complete and accurate contact information in order to be notified of abstract status.

If your abstract is selected for presentation, you and any co-presenters who will be attending must each register for the conference; there is no fee associated with registration.

We welcome your submissions and look forward to your contribution at the 2018 Climate & Health Symposium.
