About this Event

In 2019, the Woodland Hills School District became the first district in Pennsylvania to pass a Climate Change Resolution. This work was guided by Woodland Hills students and Communitopia. Frank Niepold, the Climate Education Coordinator at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, will be visiting with students, teachers, and community leaders in the Woodland Hills High School's Library Media Center to celebrate the students' achievements and speak about the importance of climate advocacy and education.
