The stakes of transitioning to a low-carbon economy have never been higher. With the intensification of global competition, the operationalization of Paris 2015, and the strains of US trade and tax initiatives, energy costs become a critical factor affecting the competitiveness of Canadian companies, and the pocketbooks of Canadian families.
