A One-of-a-Kind Destination Event for Photographers

Click Away is an inspirational three day, on-location shooting, learning, and social conference for photographers. The event is designed both to nurture learning and growth, as well as to foster personal connections. Click Away provides an intimate, hands-on experience that emphasizes individual learning tracks, experiential education, outdoor natural light shooting with models, and off-site excursions in and around beautiful San Antonio.



You loved the inspirational talks from powerful speakers such as Elizabeth Gilbert and Joy Prouty last year and learned loads from the prepared programs and on-stage demonstrations given by many platform speakers. This year, the programs opposite the shooting experiences are much more consistently structured with those celebrated programs in mind, with 14 extraordinary speakers (above) presenting incredible Photography Talks on stage to the Click Away audience.


Our interactive shooting demos filled almost instantly last year, and they were a highlight of the event for many attendees. This year, all of our boutique programs from 44 of your favorite photographers will center on shooting, and the schedule is structured to ensure that everyone will have the opportunity to add up to four hands-on shooting experiences to their schedules, including an Instructor-led Golden Hour excursion on Friday night and optional field trip via chartered bus to a picturesque location in the San Antonio, Austin and Texas Hill Country areas on Saturday (add-on experience).


We're providing some fuel to recharge you over the course of the conference? We’re bringing in two breakfast spreads on Friday and Saturday morning along with snacks between classes on Thursday and Friday — and as an attendee, that’s all included with your ticket!


Join us for a complimentary glass of wine and an elegant evening featuring awe-inspiring images from our 2015 VOICE Collection semifinalists and best in category winners. VOICE Gallery Night will again feature a red carpet photo wall and prize giveaways from Clickin Moms and our Click Away sponsors. Semiformal or formalwear is suggested. In addition to VOICE Gallery Night, we will further celebrate VOICE by putting the entire 2015 VOICE Collection on display throughout the Click Away space at the Marriott Rivercenter. The purpose of VOICE is to recognize and celebrate images that encapsulate the spirit of this special collection – vision, originality, inspiration, creativity and overall excellence. The 2015 VOICE collection will feature 12 categories: Beautiful Light, Composition and Design, Connection, Daily Life, Details, Happiness, Human Face, Newness, Rule Breaker, Self Portrait, Still Life, and Street.

Building Your Custom Schedule

After you complete your Click Away registration your browser will be immediately redirected to the Click Away Scheduling Tool. You will also receive an email from the Scheduling Tool inviting you to join the scheduler to create your Click Away schedule. If you cannot find this email, please check your spam or junk mail folder. You can access the Click Away scheduling tool by either method. The Click Away registration portal will also email you an order confirmation and a copy of your Click Away ticket. Please bring this with you to pick up your badge at the Click Away registration desk at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter.

The Click Away Scheduling Tool provides you with the following helpful tools:

– Agenda Builder to create a schedule, save to your phone and share.
– Friend Finder to see your Facebook and Twitter friends.
– Social Directory to network and meet people ahead of time.

Once you are registered with the scheduling tool, you can build your own personal schedule. This is done by viewing the Click Away schedule and adding programs to your schedule by clicking in the circle next to a program to select it, as indicated by the circle changing from white to black with a white check mark within it. When you select a program and add it to your personal schedule you have a confirmed reserved seat in that program. If you remove a program from your schedule, then you have released your confirmed reserved seat back into the system where it is available to another attendee to select. has a number of short guides to help attendees use the scheduling tool including guides for personalizing your event schedule and editing your profile.

Click Away offers multiple programs that you can choose from in each programming time slot and the scheduling tool prevents attendees from overbooking programs - adding more than one program running in the same time slot to a schedule. And in order to be fair to all attendees and to ensure that each attendee is able to enroll in the same number of programs, some limits have been placed on the overall number of specific types of programs that can be added to a single schedule. For example, all boutique programs will focus on shooting and the schedule is structured to ensure that all attendees  have the opportunity to add up to four hands-on shooting experiences to their schedules, including a Boutique Instructor-led Golden Hour Shooting Experience on Friday and an optional shooting field trip excursion on Saturday.

Cancellation Policy

All Click Away registration sales are final. No refunds will be issued for any reason, but you are free to transfer your Click Away registration to another individual. Clickin Moms will not have any involvement in registration transfers other than to change the name on the transferred registration only if so authorized by the original purchaser. Please note that while Click Away registrations can be transferred, schedules in the Scheduling Tool cannot be transferred. Limitations of the registration process and the Scheduling Tool prevents the transfer of one attendee's schedule to another attendee or to a new attendee purchasing one's registration. Those who purchase a Click Away registration from an existing attendee will be required to create their own schedule in the Scheduling Tool at the time they receive a transferred registration. Schedule, Speaker & Event Changes

Clickin Moms reserves the right to make Click Away policy, program/event and schedule changes, additions or cancellations for any reason. Advertised speakers and instructors are confirmed at this time but are subject to change.

Photography and Video Recordings

Audio recording or video recording during any conference program is not permitted without express written consent by Clickin Moms. Still photography is permitted unless explicitly prohibited by a presenter at the commencement of a formal program. By appearing at or attending Click Away, you agree that Clickin Moms and its authorized representatives may conduct interviews and may take photographs and/or record video directly or indirectly of you at any time during the event. You authorize event management all rights necessary to record you during the event and to use any or all portion of  such photographs or video recordings at any time in the future for educational, informational, commercial or any other business and in any form and waive right or approval of the uses and any claim for compensation.
