Connect with family members and professionals to learn more about effective techniques for people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) through a group screening and discussion of the ASD Strategies in Action, an online video-based learning tool. The facilitated discussion will enhance the knowledge and allow for practical application and problem solving. The first in the series will be, "Many Faces of Autism."

Autism Certification will be awareded by OCALI when the participant completes all coursework and final online test. CEUs and Ashland credits will be offered pending approval.

 

This FREE series will occur from 4:00pm– 6:30pm on the following Wednesdays:

September 27th, 2017

October 25th, 2017

January 24th, 2018

February 28th, 2018

April 25th, 2018

RAAC’s Mission: To provide strategic leadership within our community in building a full array of best practice services to support individuals with autism and their families. The Regional Autism Advisory Council does this through developing and maintaining partnerships, task force facilitation, linking local, state and national resources, autism training and education.

 Vision Statement: The Regional Autism Advisory Council will lead community partnerships to plan, develop, and implement a vibrant continuum of services that meets the lifelong needs of individuals with autism, their families, and those who serve them.
