Wed, May 17, 2017, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM EDT
Overwhelmed by paperwork? Was 2017 the year you were going to get organized? Let us help! Spend an evening learning how to use websites, apps, and smart devices to set reminders, manage tasks with school officials, doctors, and other professionals. You will learn how to track patients' symptoms and medications, and about other family management tools. Hard copy, paper-based methods for organizing will also be covered.
Speaker Marjorie MacArthur Veiga is the co-author of My Lyme Guide - Tips and Tools to Manage Lyme and Associated Illnesses. Ms. Veiga is a former senior product manager for Verizon, current volunteer for the National Capital Lyme Disease Association, and a former patient and mother of a teen with Lyme. Her consulting practice helps patients to prioritize, strategize and organize their path to wellness.
While content of this workshop is designed to be relevant to families formed by kinship care, foster care and adoption, any interested parents, caregivers and older youth are welcome to register and attend. Please note there is NO child care available for younger children.
