Join CleanStart for our monthly meetup. This month's focus is water - reducing waste, improving quality, and using it wisely.

About this event

At this month's meetup, we will explore sustainability and water - a very appropriate topic amidst a drought! We'll explore reducing waste, improving quality, and using this precious resource wisely.

CleanTech Meetups are technology-focused monthly gatherings that feature presentations about products and technologies from companies that are already in operation as well as early-stage startups. Because of the pandemic, we will be meeting online via Zoom.

Presenting Companies

AQUAOSO is the leader in aggregated and trended water risk data, in an easy to use SaaS platform, built for the modern agricultural economy. They data science and machine learning to provide meaningful insight into water data and provide advanced water risk management and mitigation tools. Christopher Peacock, founder and CEO, to present.

Electro Scan designs and develops leading machine-intelligent probes to locate and measure sewer and water defects to 1cm accuracy. It the next generation leak detection for pressurized water pipes, gravity sewers, and force mains. Chuck Hansen, founder and chairman, to present.

Waterhound Futures's software is the interface of digital water with real water, helping to run plants more efficiently, save money and meet regulatory requirements. It's software is a single tool to use data to improve processes in the wastewater treatment sector. Anthony Jones, CEO, to present.

CleanStart has been promoting the cleantech industry in the region and helping the companies be successful for over a decade.  In 2005 we said we could create 10,000 jobs and $5 billion in revenue in a cleantech sector and over the last 10 years, obs grew  from 800  to 4200 and revenue from $660 million to $2.5 billion. A number of new companies launched in the region during this time period including Sunoptics (acquired by Acuity), Synapsense, CleanWorld, Bluon, JLM Energy, Sierra Energy, Tenkiv, and GreyRock Energy.  Marrone Bio-Innovations had a successful IPO.
