Billions in incentives are coming. How will they affect clean tech entrepreneurs and their innovations? Let us show you where the money is going.
The Federal Government has committed $370 Billion to the energy transition with the passage of the IRA. California is going to spend $2.9 Billion on EV Chargers, and the CECs Epic program invests $130 Million a year in scientific and technological research, At the same time, money available from CARB via offsets trading and Low Carbon Fuel Standard credits are providing increasing subsidies. All of this funding to help us meet aggressive emission reduction goals.
These programs are complicated and in many cases details yet to come, but innovators need to be aware of them. Searchable databases are becoming available to assist in cutting through the complexity of finding out what money may be available.
