Description

The NWIRC, through its partnership with CleanTech Alliance, will livestream the 2019-2020 CleanTech Alliance Breakfast Series. The series presents notable cleantech executive speakers for a monthly conversation.

Join us at TheLab@everett on March 11 to participate, via livestream, when Bob Cowan, Director of Facilities at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center shares the ways that the center makes energy efficiency a design and operations priority.

Bob Cowan has been at the 'Hutch' for over 20 years. He is responsible for day-to-day Operations, Maintenance and Repair of the highly complex, world class, 1.6 million square foot, 15-building Fred Hutchinson Campus. He has overseen an expansion program of more than a million square feet, helped the center win over 20 Energy Awards at both local and national levels, and has weathered more inspections than he can list, including: JCAHO, DOH, FDA, AAALAC, CAP.

The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center is dedicated to both Cancer Research and Treatment. The Center, located in Seattle, has over 4,000 staff and boasts three Nobel Prize winners.
