Pre-K CLASS- Intermediate
CLASS is an observation tool that focuses on the effectiveness of classroom interactions among teachers and children. These daily interactions promote children’s social and cognitive development. Children thrive when teachers create nurturing, well-managed settings and provide frequent and engaging opportunities to learn.
Within each of the three CLASS domains (Emotional Support, Classroom Organization, and Instructional Support) are multiple dimensions that focus on a different aspect of teacher-child interactions.
During this professional development session, participants will:
* View videos of effective Instructional Support in classrooms.
* Look at each dimension and discuss how they apply to daily classroom interactions
* Reflect on their own practice
