Add $110 for Fri-Sat lodging to stay for the weekend (particularly useful for those flying in and Committee members) and the conference center will cater Friday dinner, and Saturday breakfast and lunch--included in the price no extra chage!!

Huge thanks to the members of the Steering Committee, who have helped get us this far, and to the following people for stepping up to chair other committees:

Steering Committee:

  • Jan Rose
  • Burt Morse
  • Lisa Ormsby
  • Jeanne Mutty (Thomas)
  • Pam Jones
  • Dawn Rood (Smith)
  • Activities Committee: Karen Hilberg, Lisa Ormsby
  • Music Committee: Peter Christmas, Seth Connolly, Doug Toland
  • Media/Photography Committee: Bill Gonzales
  • Security Committee: Lou Abare
  • Decorations Committee: Pam Jones!
  • Communications/Logistics Committee: Steering Committee members ~ but we need lots of volunteers for day-of so hit me up if you’re willing to help check people in and pass out badges, do other day-of stuff etc!

Obviously we all need help with our committees, and a ton of other stuff, so if you see a committee where you’re willing to participate and help us make this event fantastic please contact anyone on the Steering Committee or the respective Committee Chairs.

There will also be a full bar plus beer & wine--it's a cash bar not included in the ticket price. Available from 5:30p-10:30pm

We’ll have the full dinner experience and here’s a look-see at some sample menus offered by the Executive Chefs at the Conference Center. No decision made on that yet but we have the ultimate say and can choose our own items too. We’ll get back to everyone who buys a ticket with the final menu and a confirmation of any restrictions you have indicated when you bought your ticket.

Dining hall is pictured below and downstairs is the wooden-floor dance hall. The Music Committee is selecting a killer bunch of songs from our youth to keep us dancing (and slow dancing) for the rest of the night — think Enchantment Under the Sea Dance with MP3s instead of Michael J Fox

*****

We’ve rented an entire air-conditioned lodge with double occupancy rooms, twin beds, where every room has its own bath, pictured below. Lodge Party after the dance! We can overflow into more lodges as tickets come in but you all are free to go home and return for brunch or not, or stay elsewhere. Some people have already reserved rooms at the Groton Inn but offsite options are yours and the Steering Committee will not be involved in alternative arrangements.

*****

We have rented a pontoon boat for cruises around the lake all afternoon, and have reserved a volleyball setup for the sandy beach area and a soccer setup for the field if anyone is interested. We’ve chosen a walking trail for a leisurely stroll, and we’ll have corn hole and other stuff to do or just hang on the beach if you’d rather. We can even do a tour of ABRHS and/or go golfing or whatever — there’s plenty of time that day and also to decide what you do/don’t want to do. No extra charge (unless we set up a golf trip of course!)

Access to the venu begins at noon -- You'll receive emails with more info as the reunion aproaches.

The lodge(s) available have comfy meeting areas (picture below) if the weather is bad. We have a huge indoor stone fireplace in the dining hall but also an outdoor fire setup (see pictures) so we’re not weather-dependent or we can just keep dancing!

Please visit the Class Facebook Page for more details on the festivities as they become available.

All of us can’t wait to see all of you on June 20, 2020 when the Class of '75 celebrates 45 years of friendship and memories. As Hans and Franz said, We Are Gonna Pump You Up!
