Open source technology brings developers together enabling them to achieve greater results. There is a diverse open source game development community out there that is creating and consuming all sorts of projects, from small code snippets to fully featured games and engines. This talk will explain some of the ways open source software can improve game projects. About the Instructor
Adina Shanholtz has been making wearables and designing games for years as a student. As part of her job as a Technical Evangelist for Microsoft, she combines these interests, which has helped her discover a whole new perspective on game design.
