CLASH OF THE CULTURE is proud to announce the dates and featured workouts of our 3rd Annual event.

About this Event

Below is a brief description of RX & Scaled Division expectations to help you determine what division to register for:

RX Division: Your team can efficiently do the following: pull-ups, double unders, & handstand pushups & HANDSTAND WALKS. Can efficiently do a full Squat Snatch and/or full Squat Clean & Jerk at or above 95/135 lbs at a high level.

Scaled Division: Athletes that are new to the competition scene or beginners. Those who need to do modifications like jumping pull-ups, new to olympic lifting, and needs to modify most of the workouts.

THE COMPETITION: This will be a partner based competition $200 per team ($150 Early Bird). We will provide additional details regarding competition logistics as it gets closer to the event date. We plan to start the competition at 7am and finish around 3pm.

Event 1 “The Equalizer”

Double Unders: The rope must pass under the feet twice. If the rope is trapped on the second pass, the rep does not count.

Squat Cleans: The bar must be pulled from the floor, pass through a full squat and finish with the hips and knees fully extended with the elbows in front of the bar. Deadlifts into hang squat cleans are allowed. A power clean into a front squat is allowed.

Burpees: The athlete’s chest must make contact with the ground at the same time with a hand release and then a jump, at the same time, over the bar. There must be a two foot jump w/ feet leaving the ground at the same time.

RX must pick 2 movements

Hang Snatch: The bar must be pulled from below the knee and finish with the bar overhead with the hips and knees fully extended in one continuous motion. Press outs are allowed but the bar cannot be pressed out from below eye level. A squat is not required.

Box Jump Overs: Athletes must touch on top of the box and then go over to the other side. The rep must begin with a two footed jump. NO STEP UPS! They DO NOT have to reach full extension with their hips and knees. The rep is complete when the athlete's feet touch the floor on the other side of the box.

T2B: The feet must break the plane of the bar with both feet MAKING CONTACT with the bar inside the athlete’s hands. The bar may be touched with the toes, top, or bottom of the feet.

OHS: With the bar overhead, the athlete must pass through a full squat (hip crease below the knee). Hips and knees must be fully extended at the top of the movement with the arms locked out.

Max Double Dumbbell Front Rack Lunges

Front Rack Lunge: With the dumbbells racked at the shoulders, the athlete must touch one knee to the floor and stand up with the hips and knees fully extended. They must repeat the same process for the second knee.
