Event description

Description

Clarity Locums is delighted to announce its annual locum information evening for newly qualified pharmacists. This evening will give all newly qualified pharmacists an opportunity to prepare for the real world practicalities of locuming, the regulatory aspects and taxation/payroll. Speakers on the night include Anthony O'Neill MSPI of Clarity Locums, Caroline Hogg MPSI of PharmaConsult and Niall Hayes of Contracting Plus. A brief taster of the topics covered are below:

Anthony O'Neill MPSI - Clarity Locums

Anthony locumed throughout the Leinster region for a number of years. He has locumed in all the major chains and oversees Clarity's quality system, which ensures that locums get feedback on the work they complete. He will be talking about the day to day practicalities of locuming and the training options that Clarity provides to all its locums.

Caroline Hogg MPSI - PharmaConsult

Caroline has over 16 years experience as a pharmacist across an array of sectors, including a number of years as a PSI inspector and practice development expert. She currently runs PharmaConsult, a regulatory compliance and practice development consultancy focused on the community sector. Caroline will give a presentation on the regulatory aspects of locuming, such as emergency supply legislation, what to do if your pharmacy is inspected while locuming and more.

Niall Hayes - Contracting Plus

Niall is the sales director for Contracting Plus, a company Clarity Locums partners with to provide a number of payroll solutions to our locums. Niall will speak about the sometimes confusing area locum taxation and payroll. He will also give a presentation on the increasingly popular Contracting model of payroll.
