Description

The South Slough Reserve is teaming up with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife in a family-friendly workshop that will show participants everything they need to know to go digging of a variety of clams in our coastal mudfl ats. Knowledgeable instructors will teach how to spot clams, proper digging techniques and how to prepare and cook clams. Pre-registration is required, and everyone age 12 and older will need to purchase a shellfi sh license online, at a sales agent (Walmart, etc) or ODFW offi ce in advance of the class.
