PANELISTS

Minda Harts, Author & Founder, The Memo LLC

The Memo is the much-needed career advice guide for women of color specifically, finally ending the one-size-fits-all approach of business books that lump together women across races and overlook the unique barriers to success for women of color. In a charismatic and relatable voice, Minda Harts brings her entrepreneurial experience as CEO of The Memo to the page, as well as her past career life as a fundraising consultant to top colleges across the country.

She will be signing copies of The Memo which will be available for purchase before and after the panel discussion.

Nzinga Shaw, SVP, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer, Atlanta Hawks

She is the first person to hold the CDIO position in the National Basketball Association and for all 122 North American professional sports teams. Shaw serves as a member of the Executive Committee and provides guidance to the leadership team to engender inclusion in every facet of the business. Shaw has developed a strategy to embed equity in all programmatic activities, governance and daily administration of the organization.

Dr. Kamau Bobb, Global Lead for Diversity Strategy and Research, Google

He is the founding Senior Director of the Constellations Center for Equity in Computing at Georgia Tech and an engineer and science and technology policy scholar whose work focuses on the relationship between equity for students and communities of color in the STEM enterprise, large educational systems, and the social and structural conditions that influence contemporary American life.
