Description

Presenters:

Judge Erica Yew, Commission Member of the California Commission on Judicial Performance.

Gregory Dresser, is the Director – Chief Counsel of the California Commission on Judicial Performance.

This two hour course will discuss the history of the CJP and how it compares to other states’ commissions. The attendees will be given scenarios where they can “vote” with transponders. There will also be a table exercise where judicial officers can discuss issues in small group setting and “deliberate” on the discipline so they can experience what the commission does in deliberating. A discussion will include public and admonishments.

This training will be considered two hours of ethics. Please note this training is not a substitute for the mandatory three hours CORE QE-6 ethics training.
