CIVILIAN RESPONSE TO ACTIVE SHOOTER EVENT

With all the active shooter events happening across the world, it only makes sense to be prepared. Sign up to receive training from trained police officers, who are passionate about what it takes to keep you safe!

Law enforcement officers and agencies are frequently requested by schools, businesses, and community members for direction and presentations on what they should do if confronted with an active shooter event.

The Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course is designed and built on the Avoid! Deny! Defend! strategy developed by ALERRT in 2004. This course provides strategies, guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event.

This course is a free event and will be presented by:

  • Sheena Lewis, LEO with the City of Krum
  • Josh Palma, Deputy Sherriff with Anderson County and FF/EMT with Smith County ESD#2
