Join us for the North Central Region and Nebraska Wing Conference and Banquet!!

At The Center Of Everything!!

Registration deadline is 16 March. No late registrations will be accepted this year.

Hotel - Phone number of 402-287-7300 and ask for block of "Civil Air Patrol" to receive the government rate of $91. plus taxes per night. The block has been released, but if rooms are still available, you will be given the government rate.

Cadet Activities: Several events are planned to include a DDR Activity, NCR CAC Meeting for all cadets to attend, a mock leadership exercise and a meeting with Brigadier General Richard Anderson, Chairman of the CAP National Advisory Council, a Spaatz Cadet Recipient, past NEWG, NCR and National Commander currently represents the 51st House District (Northern Virginia) in the Virginia General Assembly. Bring your questions to ask of the NCR CAC and BG Anderson.

Schedule of Events:

Friday - Registration begins at 1600 hrs. Each member will be required to show their CAP membership card along with a CAPF 161, Emergency Information. A packet of information to include the weekend schedule and location of events around the hotel. along with your banquet ticket will be given.

Friday - Meet 'n Greet Social from 1700 hrs to 2100 hrs. A time for fellowship and friendship of members not only from NEWG but from the other 6 wings in the region and many visitors.

Friday - Cadet Activity from 1700 until 2100 hrs. (More Info on this later)______________________

Saturday - Registration will be open again from 0630 - 0800 hrs.

Continental Breakfast for all registered members beginning at 0645 hrs. Col Aye will be meeting with the NCR Wing Commanders. CAC will be meeting also.

Saturday - General Assembly for all registered members begins at 0800 hrs. Come hear about the accomplishments and activities of all the NCR wings and our National Headquarters.

Saturday - Cadet Breakout beginning after the morning break at 1000 hrs. Learn more about the program and fashion it's future.

Saturday - Seniors will continue with the Gen Assembly.

Saturday Lunch - For all registered members from 1130 - 1300 hrs. Col Aye and Region Staff will be meeting during this time. Col Nelson will have a commanders lunch with his NEWG Unit Commanders. Chaplains and CDI's to meet over lunch.

Saturday Afternoon - Cadets will re-convene to their activities

Saturday Afternoon - Senior members will have the following breakout sessions available:

Operations with Lt Col Dan Peterson, NEWG and Col Bill Kay, NCR from 1315 - 1415 hrs.

Aerospace Education with Lt Col Bev Talbott, NEWG and Lt Col Bill Sander, NCR from 1315 - 1415 hrs.

Professional Development with Col Erica Willams, Col John O'Neil, Col Steve Kuddes & Mike Mudry. NCR from 1430 - 1515 hrs.

Cadet Programs with Lt Col Dave Winters, NCR from 1430 - 1515 hrs.

Communications with Lt Col Jim Winney, NCR from 1545 - 1645 hrs.

IG with Lt Col Jeffery Morris from 1545 - 1645 hrs.

Saturday Evening - Banquet Social Hour begins at 1700 hrs

Saturday Evening - Banquet 1800 to 2100 hrs


Sunday Morning - Chapel Service at 0800 hrs

Sunday Morning - Tabletop Exercise at 0900 to 1100 hrs with Lt Col Dan Peterson and Col Steve Kuddes

Uniforms: Saturday - USAF style short or long blue shirt with or without tie or better, equivalent CAP Corporate uniform or business attire. NO BDU's, ABU's or flight suits.

Banquet Attire - Semi-formal attire, Mess Dress, USAF style Service Dress uniform, CAP blazer uniform or appropriate civilian business attire is acceptable.

Friday evening is Casual.


Table Top Exercise Mission Number: 17-T-4448. Reimbursement for the member's travel to and from the conference only with required attendance at the table top exercise Sunday morning. Two sorties must be entered into WMIRS for their arrival (either Friday or Saturday) at the hotel from their home base and leaving the hotel back to their home base on Sunday. Fuel will be reimbursed to those with sorties and signed in at the exercise to verify attendance. Your CAP membership card and CAPF 101 will be verified. Fuel receipts must be uploaded into the WMIRS sorties within the 72 hour regulation requirement.

Banquet Ticket: In each individual packet received when signing in upon arrival at the conference, there will be a color coded banquet ticket (depending on which meal you chose) inside. This is required to be placed upon your plate at the table you set at as the colored ticket will alert the server of your type of meal. There will be a registration table at the entrance to the banquet room for those attending the banquet only to receive their meal ticket.
