ORGANIZATIONS:
1. TABLETRIBES - Now more than ever, we need to go back to the basic fundamentals of human communication between each of us as neighbors, communities, and collaborators. Tabletribes brings online conversations into the real world with opportunities to connect more meaningfully with the people around you.

2. Humans.NYC - A media advocacy organization that aims to make it easier for unsheltered homeless New Yorkers to secure housing. The team began by having over 2,000 conversations with New Yorkers living on the streets to learn about the barriers they face in trying to move into housing. Now, through a combination of research, policy, video, and targeted advertisements, Human.NYC seeks to bridge the gap between people with lived experience and people who influence policy. (website launching soon)

3. Streetlives - A community-built platform that will enable people who are homeless or in poverty to easily find, rate and recommend social services across New York City. By improving the understanding of and access to relevant services, Streetlives can provide nonpersonal data to advocate for and improve the efficacy of those services.

4. Social Rocket Factory - A group of experts passionate about Social Startups deciding whether or not to invest 8-Months of Diagnostic Support into fixing your problem in order to help you achieve marketplace traction.

5. Pathfinder - Created to ease military Veteran transitions back into civilian life. We give Veterans and their friends and family members a way to rate, review, and connect with local community resources.

6. Women Who Code - A global 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring women to excel in technology careers. We connect amazing women with other like-minded amazing women around the globe who unite under one simple notion – the world of technology is much better with women in it.

7. We All Need Somebody - Need Somebody is a community platform that seeks to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health. Through dedicated resources that center Black communities, other communities will serve to benefit. We all need somebody. (website launching soon)

8. Ashley Tallevi - Ashley Tallevi, Ph.D., is currently working as a consultant for the NBC News Election Lab. Her academic research explores the relationship between program/product design and human behavior. Ashley’s doctoral research at Penn used public health programs to identify how the privatization of social policies influences how people perceive and engage with government. This research was awarded funding from the National Science Foundation and the Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics, and it has appeared in peer-reviewed journals.
