ABOUT CBE
Coalition of Black Excellence (CBE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on building community among Black professionals to collectively tackle racial and economic injustice. The organization was founded in 2018 by Black professionals from over 40 organizations who shared a deep passion for advancing the prosperity of Black businesses, Black professionals, and nonprofits rooted in the Black community.
In 2019, CBE merged with The Recharge Group (Black Battery), an organization of Black professionals that assembled monthly at the Battery in San Francisco to share experiences and strengthen bonds with Blacks in the Bay Area.
Today, CBE continues to make their vision of a thriving Black community a reality by uniting, celebrating, and uplifting Black professionals throughout the year through various discussions, partnerships, Recharge Events, CBE Summit, Code Black Gala, CBE Week, and more.
