Kick off your summer at CityLink's first ever Extreme Point .1K!
YES...you read that right...a POINT .1K!
Here's your chance to take on the grueling task of running, walking, skipping or even dancing 329 feet along Bank Street to reach the finish line.
WHY A POINT .1K?
Because 'a little distance can make a big difference' for folks in Cincinnati working hard towards reaching their full potential. (And because we think everyone should get to slap a magnet on their car proving how awesome they are for being a "distance" runner).
This family friendly event will feature Food Trucks (like Sweets and Meats BBQ!), live entertainment, MadTree Beer booth, and children’s activities like a bounce house, petting zoo, face painting and more!
Register yourself or gather up your family, friends or co-workers to form a group and take advantage of discounted pricing! Plus you or your team could win coveted prizes in categories like: Best Costume, Fastest Time, Most Creative Team Name, Best Family Costume and MORE!
- Individual Registration: $25
- Youth Registration (12 and under): $10
- Groups of 5 or more: $20 per participant

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
Anyone can participate, but you'll need to bring your I.D. to have a tasty adult beverage.
How do you recommend training?
First, plenty of fluids, you don’t want to pull a hamstring or suffer from dehydration for such a strenuous event. Second, we recommend building up to the distance, start with walking across the room and slowly work your way to walking around the block; but pace yourself. Don’t forget to taper your training leading up to the big day, you don’t want to show up on race day with your best steps behind you.
What are my parking options for this event?
Parking will be available in the CityLink Parking Lot and our overflow parking lot along Central Ave. Street parking will also be availabe on side streets surrounding the closed off section of Bank Street.
Are professional athletes allowed to enter and compete?
This has not been approved as an official Olympic training event so Usain Bolt, reigning short-distance world champion will not be participating. We do welcome other pro, semi-pro, or amateur athletes along with the rest of us.
Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Please contact: email@example.com with any questions or inquiries.
If a train leaves Cincinnati travelling 50MPH will it reach Columbus before the first runner crosses the finish line?
We will have to run the math by our GED class and instructors to verify, but we think that all runners will be able to complete the course in well under 30 minutes.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
If you register online, our volunteers will have your information on hand. If you want someone else that didnt register to use your slot, it may be helpful for them to bring along the printed eventbrite registration for reference.
What is the refund policy?
Sorry, no refunds. (But please know that your support is helping CityLink and our partners carry out our shared missions.)
What happens if it rains?
We will host the Extreme Point .1K rain or shine!
