City of Tampa Backyard Composting Program

Please read thoroughly before registering:

Current City of Tampa Solid Waste customers in single-family homes with a yard are eligible to register. Please only register once per household.

Along with verifying with the map below before registering, please confirm with My Tampa Services to make sure you are a Tampa Solid Waste customer.

Be advised that not all addresses containing Tampa, FL as the city lie within the Department’s service area; to confirm, please visit our website above. Ineligible registrations will be canceled and notified.

Upon completion of this course and submitting a digital waiver, residents will receive a free backyard composting bin and compost bucket, while supplies last. The program is limited to registration1 per household and the representative of the household must be an adult (18+).

The workshop will be held online. No additional software or extra computer skills are necessary - just click to join! A link for joining the workshop will be provided to registrants via their event ticket. If you do not receive your confirmation, please check your SPAM folder for the email.
