You can attend this event in person or virtually.
This is a free (in person) event with entertainment including poetry by Rebecca "Butterfly" Vaughn, performance by Delou African Dance Ensemble and art displays by local artists. The Mayor and Commissioners will honor black community leaders during the event.
The City of Tamarac announces updates to its Black History Month Celebration, including a new virtual keynote speaker, Katrina Jones, and an additional performance by singer Rochelle Lightfoot.
Tickets are required to enter. One ticket per family. Each family will have a 12 x 12 space with 6 ft. in between spaces for social distancing. No more than 6 people per space. Face masks and social distancing required.
