Event description

Description

Life on earth is sustained by the plant kingdom, from the air we breathe, to food and nutrients, to plant-derived drugs for the treatment of disease. Understanding plant diversity, as well as its underlying molecular biochemical processes, is central to addressing the challenges of a rapidly changing world, including our survival of climate change. Learn more from a panel of Graduate Center professors, including Renuka Sankaran and Eleanore Wurtzel of Lehman College, as well as Barbara Ambrose and Robbin Moran of the New York Botanical Garden.
