Event description

Description

Networks have been used to describe interactions between molecules in biological systems, between people in social systems, and even between parts of the brain that form an individual’s personality. Do the same rules apply to such networks at different levels of organization? What can we learn from one level of organization to help understand other systems? A panel of Graduate Center professors from different disciplines discusses these exciting questions, led by Larry Liebovitch (physics, Queens College), featuring Stefano Ghirlanda (psychology, Brooklyn College) and Ofer Tchernichovski (neuroscience, Hunter College).
