Cancer treatments, stem cell technology, brain research are a few critical areas that nanotechnology—the scientific method that manipulates and studies matter at the smallest scale—is increasingly impacting. Rein Ulijn, director of the Nanoscience Initiative at CUNY's Advanced Science Research Center at the GC and Einstein Professor at Hunter College​, and his colleagues discuss how their latest discoveries can impact the future of medical research in New York City and beyond.
